FINANCING A BETTER FUTURE
students and parents seeking financial aid and literacy resources
with volunteers from over 40 states and 4 countries nationwide
WHAT IS FINANCING OUR FUTURES?
Financing our Futures is a nationally recognized
501(c)3 non-profit organization set to help students with financial aid and literacy resources.
Our resources and articles accessed on our website and blog have been able to help thousands of students around the world become more financially educated, in a world where money is key.
WHO WE ARE
Our Co-Founders, Corey Wong and Nesty Dogbatse, founded Financing our Futures in 2022 after struggling to find resources to better financially educate themselves.

Wanting to find a solution, they created the organization to ensure that other students would not have to endure the same fate. As a low-income student, Nesty faced many obstacles.
She later became a Questbridge finalist and is now attending Villanova University on a full-ride scholarship.
Corey has always been interested in finance. After becoming a stock trader and investor, he has set up several resources to help others in need and is now attending Northeastern University on an academic scholarship.
INTRODUCING OUR 2024-2025 PRESIDENT
We are proud to announce our next acting President,
Mahin Patel.
He will be managing all of our assets, operations, finances, and activities.
He currently attends Old Bridge High School and plans to attend École hôtelière de Lausanne in the near future to study hospitality management.
His dedication to helping students in need lack no bounds, as he volunteers to help students at elementary schools, his place of worship, and whenever an opportunity arises.
OUR MISSION AND ADVOCACY
Reaching thousands of students annually was no easy endeavor.
Acting as a Board of Education liaison, our Co-Founder, Nesty Dogbatse truly made an impact on our school’s community.
From contributing to the school’s budget that affects each and every one of the 10,000 student district, to advocating for teacher’s equal pay, she truly worked hard to achieve her goals and to fulfill our mission.
Together, we have accumulated 125+ volunteers,
belonging to the United States, Canada, France, India,
and China.
With the collaboration and assistance of our
volunteers, we have over 30 self-published articles
detailing financial aid, literacy, and scholarship resources for students and parents who may not be aware.
Our advocacy and dedication has reached thousands of
students globally, and our mission has only just begun.
OUR VOLUNTEERS
STRENGTH BY THE NUMBERS
Each one of our volunteers and executive board
members have received financial aid, a merit
scholarship, or a combination of both.
We are extremely proud of each one of our members,
and we hope to keep our legacy strong.

Attending a higher educational institution isn’t the
easiest endeavor and we truly hope that each
scholarship given will help students become
successful in the future.
Our post-secondary resources are published to achieve this goal.
According to educationdata.org, in the United States, only 7% of students receive scholarships.
Our goal is to raise this number.
In order to continue to fund our mission, we actively seek donors and contributors to our organization.
We kindly ask that you assist in any way possible, as our operations do cost quite a bit, and any amount helps.
