Taylor Swift is known for a few things, her songs, her fans, and most recently, The Eras Tour. This tour started with a disastrous ticket-buying incident where fans were in distress for hours over purchasing tickets and a canceled general sale, upsetting Swifties across the country. Regardless of its rough start, this tour has become national, and soon-to-be international, news. From boosting the economy to pushing Swift to billionaire status, it has impacted the lives of fans and non-fans alike.
With the first leg of the U.S. tour ending on August 9, including an announcement for her fourth rerecord “1989 (Taylor’s Version),” the time has come for American fans to say goodbye.
As bittersweet as this is, you can earn a $500 scholarship by writing a 400–600 word essay on how Swift’s music, specifically during the Eras Tour, has positively impacted you.
