Since 1997, when the first Harry Potter book was released, the world has become obsessed with its fantasy-filled world. It has become a worldwide phenomenon most other books have not. With an award-winning 8-movie series combined with an amazing cast, Harry Potter has become a staple in most reader’s lives.
As most Potterheads know, in the magical world of Hogwarts, there are four houses you can be sorted into; Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin. Each is known for a few specific qualities. Gryffindor is known as the house of the brave and noble, Ravenclaw is the house of the intelligent and ha, Hufflepuffs are loyal and hardworking, and Slytherins are cunning and ambitious.
Most fans are very passionate on what house they may or may not belong in, and you can use that passion to earn $1,000 to put towards their college. All you have to do is write a 400–600 word essay about how your values and your traits align with the house you are in. The deadline is October 31, 2023 and winners are announced November 21, 2023.
